A Saturday with Blue Skies + Sunshine = Dog Park
On Saturday, Lauren and I took Henry to the dog park to play with Eric and Meredith’s pup, Bear. It was a blast for the little yellow dogs. Bear is a beautiful yellow lab about Henry’s age, so they have lots of fun playing and rolling around in the dirt together.
Eric was able to corral the two for a quick picture before they went racing off to meet new friends.
It was a beautiful sunny day, which was a welcome relief from the gray skies and biting wind we’ve had recently in Tulsa.
Hopefully this weather is a sign of things to come. I’m itching to get back on the trails and try another adventure race. I know that there’s no excuse for not getting outside, even in the winter, but it’s a lot easier to drum up the motivation when the sun is beckoning. It will be good to start walking to work again. I have a feeling that avoiding crazy drivers in the morning will be well worth the few extra minutes and exercise.
